George Colliat was a student in my first Life Story Writing class in 2017. George wrote his stories with richness and detail. He culminated his experience from the class with the publication of his memoir, “My Life” in 2018. This incredible gift he has left for his family can now be shared for generations to come.
Ever since I retired in 2015, I wanted to leave a legacy beyond just monetary assets. I procrastinated, not knowing how to get started until I ran into a Guided Autobiography class taught by Craig Siulinski at San Mateo Community College. The course gave me the nudge to get started and the framework of themes to organize my memories. The weekly sharing sessions with my classmates provided the necessary incentive to write each week. |
