Sharing Legacies was created in 2014 to offer consultancy and supportive services for folks who wanted to learn, write and/or share their family’s stories. As proprietor of Sharing Legacies, my primary mission is to offer education in the form of classes, presentations and one-on-one assistance on writing family histories or researching one’s ancestors.

My secondary mission is to offer full-serviced project work in which I create blog sites for clients to share their family history content online, or to act as a consultant to help with DIY projects.  A typical project would include initial set-up, tutoring for the first blog posts, and then ongoing coaching as needed.

My experience includes numerous presentations at genealogy/historical societies, and libraries in California, Maine and Massachusetts.   I have also taught genealogy classes in adult education and senior centers, and life story writing class at at the College of San Mateo.  Every person has valuable life experiences and insights to share with the world.  There is no better time to capture family stories than now, and there is no better gift for one’s future generations.
